Henry Cho

Why see Henry Cho?

The Empty Nest Tour

Stand-up comedian Henry Cho is hitting the road again in 2026, bringing you The Empty Nest Tour. A radio regular and the first Asian-American member of the Grand Ole Opry, Cho has proved himself time and time again to be one of comedy's hardest hitters since first coming to mainstream attention in the 1980s.

About Henry Cho

Few comedians can say they’ve broken barriers, become a beloved member of one of country music’s most treasured institutions, and done it all without relying on profanity or shock value. Henry Cho has spent decades proving that funny is funny, earning a reputation as one of America’s most unique and universally loved comedians.

Since launching his stand-up career in the 1980s, Henry has become a familiar face across television, appearing on everything from The Tonight Show and The Late Late Show to The Arsenio Hall Show, MTV’s 1/2 Hour Comedy Hour, and Bob Hope’s Young Comedians Special. Along the way, he’s also appeared in films including McHale’s Navy, Say It Isn’t So, Material Girls, and The Farmer and the Belle: Saving Santa Land.

When he isn’t touring the country making people laugh, he can often be found tending his Tennessee farm, raising Angus cattle, cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers, and spending time with his wife Amy and their three children.
